The Communities in Schools Aberdeen Family Resource Center is a project of Communities in Schools (CIS), The Junior League of Moore County, Moore County Schools (MCS), Moore County Home Builder’s Association and Aberdeen Elementary School (AES).

The Family Resource Center provides the community with the following programs:

• After School Programs
• Health Fairs
• Computer Lab
• GED Classes
• Parent Education
• Sight for Students Vision Vouchers
• Special Interest Classes
• FirstSchool Garden Cooking Classes

The Aberdeen Family Resource Center is located on the campus of Aberdeen Elementary School.
