Fundraisers
Communities In Schools holds several fundraisers during the year, and we need your participation — whether through financial support or as a volunteer — to make them successful!
Dancing With The Sandhills Stars
On January 9th, 2010 local leaders in the community competed for votes on the dance floor to raise awareness of mentoring and the impact it has on helping children reach their potential and become successful in school and in life. This evening of dining, dancing and FUN benefited two mentoring programs – Communities In Schools and Moore Buddies. Both are local non-profit United Way agencies and are vital to the welfare of young people who are in need of a little extra help to succeed, stay in school and be better prepared for life.
